Beautiful Paris, unique and romantic Paris. City of art, love and history, but also of fashion… Are we sure about that?  I have been living here for nearly 4 years and I asked myself that question several times; walking into the street I usually spend time observing people wearing “conventional” clothes. Writing conventional I mean everything that brand designers and the entire fashion industry have decided would be trendy this or next year.  So I decided to “conduct an experiment”.

I went into street wearing my new half canvas suit made up with a squared blue fabric 100% super 130’s wool by Lanificio F.lli Cerruti. I thought that men would have considered me as a fool, instead I was amazingly surprised by the amount of people who have been staring and smiling at me. I just understood that men still like squares and stripes, but someone has decided that united blue, grey and black fabrics are more adapted for professional environment.

I would try to show you up more looks featured by coloured squares and stripes which could give you an unique elegance.

Look: –  suit AM, squared blue fabric 100% super 130’s wool by Lanificio Cerruti. – white handmade shirt italian collar by Sannino – red striped silk tie by Calabrese 1924 – dark brown derby shoes.
